The Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry honored several companies that have received the «Sustainability Mark» awarded by the Chamber, on the sidelines of the «Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week 2026» events. This step reflects the Chamber's commitment to supporting the private sector's transition towards more sustainable business practices and enhancing its readiness and competitiveness, in line with the national directions for sustainable economic development. Emirates Driving School, Emirates Steel, and Dar Properties received the «Diamond» classification under the «Sustainability Mark» program, while «Union Iron and Steel», «National Marine Dredging Group», its subsidiary «Energy», «Weatherford», and «Trojan Construction Group» were classified as «Gold». In turn, Al Mazroui Group («Al Turais Engineering Consultations») and Best Peak Trading received the «Silver» classification. The «Bronze» classification was granted to Emirates Link Contracting and «Lead Development», in accordance with the program's approved evaluation criteria and the level of corporate readiness in sustainability. Shams Ali Khalifan Al Dhaheri, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors and Managing Director of the Abu Dhabi Chamber, said: «Honoring companies that have obtained the 'Sustainability Mark' embodies the Chamber's commitment to supporting the private sector and encouraging companies to adopt responsible practices that enhance their institutional readiness, operational efficiency, and capacity for sustainable growth». In turn, Ali Mohammed Al Mazroui, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, stated that «Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week» serves as a global platform bringing together leaders and experts from various sectors, and this recognition affirms the pivotal role that companies play in achieving sustainable economic development goals and enhancing the integration between economic performance, environmental, and social responsibility». In the same context, representatives of the honored companies stated that obtaining the «Sustainability Mark» is a pivotal milestone in their business development journey, contributing to a qualitative transformation in their corporate methodologies by adopting more efficient and sustainable practices in their daily operational processes. They also indicated that the program provided them with practical tools to improve productivity, reduce waste, and enhance resource efficiency, alongside strengthening clarity in risk management through advanced governance frameworks that enabled them to plan with confidence and anticipate future challenges.
